At the dawn of the new millennium, Vega got introduced to the fascinating world of dj'ing when a friend of his started playing at parties. After tagging along a few times, Vega quickly caught the DJ-virus himself. Already being a dedicated trance fanatic for several years, he soon decided to buy his own equipment so he could lift his passion for music to a higher level. Soon after that, Vega became resident in a local youth club, where he properly learnt what it means to be a DJ. His love for trance combined with his newly acquired skills soon got him to play at several parties (Second Sun, trancEmotion, BeTA-party, Underground Vibes, Progression Wave,...), earned him guest-mixes on the biggest online radio stations (Lazerhothits, ETN.fm) and brought him into the finals of multiple DJ-contests.

But the greatest highlight so far is without a doubt his performance at the Club Elite Night in the renowned club Illusion, where he had the honour to play alongside longtime personal favourites such as Harry Lemon, John 'OO' Fleming and M.I.K.E.. He also managed to become a resident on one of the biggest online radiostations, danceradio.gr, where his monthly "Veganism" show features the latest in progressive dance music. And 2008 really seemed to become his year, as Vega was elected one of the winners of the big Pioneer Pro DJ Contest 2008. This succes did not go unnoticed, and a recent performance at the Salle Noire in Antwerps biggest club Noxx was the next step in his career, backed with a new biweekly residence on Dutch internetradio TotaalFM.

Over the years, Vega's style and flavour in music has changed significantly, and his sets nowadays span the entire house spectrum, ranging from subtle minimal and tech to driving progressive and blissful breaks. But despite this musical evolution, the key elements in his sets still remain melody and emotion.

With his online mixshows and live performances, Vega aims to open the eyes - and ears - of the public to the underground vibe of progressive music.
