The Scotch Malt Whisky Society began as a group of friends who shared the price of a cask of fine malt whisky; only after many years did the syndicate open its doors wider. It still, to this day, retains its personal, non-commercial and companionable atmosphere, in its publications, meetings & premises.

The Society has its headquarters in one of the oldest commercial buildings in Scotland--The Vaults in Leith, Port of Edinburgh. It also has a Members' Room in London, located in the heart of The City. The Society also has branches in The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Japan and North America.

And now finally also available in Belgium.

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is for people who enjoy fine Scotch. The Society makes the very finest whiskies available to members, bottled direct from the cask in the peak of condition. When you join — or you can make a present of membership to a friend — you, will be sent our Membership Pack, which includes a bottle of Society Whisky.

 

Thereafter, you will receive the Society's engaging Newsletter (published twice a year) and Bottling list (published six times a year).
