Grand Bazaar
A large
covered market place, the Grand Bazaar is one of the few places
in Tehran that has been kept in its original form. Located in the
traditional center of Tehran it is a network of packed shops in
covered alleys divided into sections categorized by their particular
commodity, such as Jewelers Bazaar, Carpet Bazaar, Shoe Makers Bazaar,

Traditional
food stores
Sonnati
(meaning traditional) restaurants with traditional Iranian dishes
and ambiance have become a popular place in Tehran. Very noticeable
all over Tehran are the number of Ab-Miveh Forushi (fruit juice
stores), Miveh Forushi (fruit stores), Ghanadi and Ajil Forushi
(Patisserie and nuts shops) among others. |
