1. Intro
Johnny Z produced intro... has some screwed lyrics and the beat is nice... one of the better intros I heard - but still an intro, so there´s no rate

2. Two Cold Cappers
Great!! Beesh and Tee come hella smooth on this one!! The verses are tight and so is the hook by Beesh! Personally for me, Beesh´s verse is one of his best I ever heard! This is real smooth Bay-Area-sound! Yeah, this is what I wanna hear.
"I´m indo´ fo sho, playboy already know. Sometimes its Baby Bash, sometimes its Baby Blow ... oh oh"
8/10

3. They Don't Even Know
My less favorite song on this album. Cisco doesnt come so good as on most of his other tracks, and so do Beesh and Jay Tee. Also I dont like the hook that much, I think Cisco sounds a bit bored on it... dont know... You can also find this track on "Baby Beesh – On tha cool".
3/10

4. Same Shit
Featuring Frost. This one is ok, not too special. Has some very funny lyrics (especially Beesh´s verse can keep you laughing). The beat could have been better... and also I dont like the way the artists are rapping on this track that much.
4/10

5. On One
I like that one!! Miami comes sick, his voice sounds like he was drunk 10 days in a row... It goes about alcohol and drugs... not much more. Jay Tee is selling his bitch for a fifth of gin, Miami is on one.. maybe six, and Beesh is smokin on pepperspray - so what do I have to say else?! Yeah, it has a good beat, produced by Johnny Z.
7/10

6. Vamanos
Not as good as the remix (on the album, too) but still a nice song. I couldnt find a difference between this here and the remix except the beat, and I like the remixed beat more. „Vamanos“ features Merciless of the „Funky Aztecs“ that I like a lot. His part is very refreshing, I think he compares good to style of the Velvet Clika, perhaps he should be on some more tracks?!
6/10

7. Hustler Fo' Sho'
With Russel Lee and Young DRU. This is kinda R´n´B, slow beat, slow lyrics. DRU comes with a VERY tight verse, for me the best one on the track. This way of rapping I like him a lot more then on his Album „Flame Spitter“. Russel Lee´s hook is well sung. But as there will come some songs which are even greater then this one, I should find one thing to critizice:
The beat isn´t the best on the album (produced by Happy P, and I think some of his beats aren´t that good. He could have done better. So there you see it... if you have such a great album you have to critizice things you wouldnt do on any other.I like it...
7/10

8. What's Goin' On?
This is my favourite on the whole CD. Even better then the remix. It reminds me a bit of "Raza Park" which was a classic, and so will this be one. If it would get enough airplay it could easily run the charts (but I dont know if Latino Velvet would even like that, horrible imagination that all them 12 year-old „Chart-Childs“ would be bumpin LVC). It has so smooth flowin lyrics and the hook... wow, its fantastic!!! I cant stop myself from singing along with it... Every verse is a masterpiece, and in my opinion Frost should do more along w/ Beesh & Tee... they fit together like menudo and lemon. Produced by Big Ice and Oral Bee, who did a fantastic job!!
"Now you got the Top-Drop, grind so clean, dig in the scene with the gangsta-lean, whats goin on? .... what´s goin on?"
10/10

9. Latin Ladies
Featuring Cisco. The fastest track on the Album, and in my opinion on of the best. Although my girl wanna skip it everytime (I always ask myself why?!)
I can listen to it verrrry often. Ok, its good that not every song on the album is as fast as this, but for this one it fits. I like Cisco´s spanglish flow on the first verse... right after Lo G he´s the second best in mixing spanish and english.
8/10

10. She Was a Hustler
Another good song on "Velvetism", featuring Mr. Kee, which I heard first on Jay Tee´s "So Cold" Album. And yeah, I like him. I love the R´n´B chorus, which makes a good atmosphere... I think. All the verses are tight... good work!!
7/10

11. What's Up With You?
The third (and last) song on the album I dont like that much. Its ok, but not more. It features Cisco once again, and in my opinion he´s could have done better. When I remember of "Oh Boy" or the tracks he was featured on Frosts "That was then, This is now Vol. 1", when he was on top of his game, I´m a bit disappointed listening to him this times. The beat is ok, so it will get a...
5/10

12. Side Show
Featuring Frost and Young Mugzi. This is a heater, I always bump it in my ride (if you can call a "Nissan Primera" a ride *lol*). The hook is well sung by a female singer named "Niece" (havent heard of her before), but she does it great!! Young Mugzi comes tight, too. Great song, sounding a bit like the older Bay Area releases!!
"This ain´t no Fast and The Furious, all you square ass nerds can´t deal with this"
8/10

13. Vamanos [Remix]
Featuring Merciless. Like I said before, this is the better version of the track (you can find it on Beesh´s "On tha cool", too).
Dont know what I could say more...
7/10

14. What's Goin' On? [Remix]
Also producted by Big Ice and Oral Bee (from Norway).
The remix of my favourite song. Still great, but I like the beat of the first version a little bit more. And because of that it´ll "only" get a:
9,5 /10

15. Outro
Can someone tell me the difference between the intro and the outro?
I cant hear one... its the same beat and the same lyrics... ok, here and there are differences... but at all, just the same.

For me this is one of the best Westcoast - Albums I ever heard. It´s so refreshing and does never get boring! There is only one track on the album I dont like to hear... the others are great, except one or two perhaps which are "only" good and nice to listen to. I think I can say that if you´re a HipHop fan you HAVE to buy Latino Velvet presents: Jay Tee & Baby Beesh – Velvetism! Without any doubt, this is great!! 8/10
