Zita Swoon

Together with dEUS, one of the Big Ones. Starting as a jazzy thing around Stef Kamil Carlens called A Beatband, they later became a jazzy thing called Moondog Jr. before turning into a jazzy bluesy funky group called Zita Swoon. After the immense success of their album I Paint Pictures on a Wedding Dress, they became a funky disco group but didn't change their name (maybe to keep the state support they received after the success of I Paint Pictures).

 Members

Benjamin Boutreur was a member in the Moondog Jr. period, as were Michael Blair and Walter Broes. A Beatband featured even more people: Barbara Van Hoestenberghe, Bas Deriemaeker, Klaas Janzoons, Steve Bruyneel, Jules de Borgher, Bart Luypaert and Olivier Defossez Deajean.
