Peter Vermeersch: Weg |
Weg (meaning 'road' but also 'away') is a monologue by actor and writer Josse De Pauw. It deals with life and how it comes and goes in an everyday way. The play exists of several scenes, most of which are repeated as the background of music by Peter Vermeersch, performed live by Vermeersch and Pierre Vervloesem. Some scenes are about family life, some are about midlife crisis or death, and some are about the feelings of the small man towards the powerful god(s) who seems to taunt him. ![]() |
