Larf is a theatre play by Josse De Pauw, for which Peter Vermeersch wrote the music. It was performed live by the Flat Earth Society, and has been released as a cd. Actors were Josse De Pauw, Dirk Roofthooft, Tom Jansen and Roland Van Campenhout, and visual artist Koenraad Tinel made the strange stage objects.

The play shows how power corrupts the mind because it is boring. The premiere took place in Ghent in the year 2000, as part of the memorial festivities of the 500th birthday of the emperor Charles V in that city. Laft was very popular and received the Océ Podiumprijs.

The last song, Don't worry about a thing, is a song of Mose Allison. J&J Libbera refers to Jean-Jacques Libbera, a frenchman of the 19th century who was a famous freak: he was a kind of siamese twin, with a dead foetus growing out of his body.
