What is "Tildonk fights Muco (Cystic Fibrosis)" doing in 1998?
In order to even more familiarize people with cystic fibrosis and to make the stay of the 120 patients more comfortable, we organize a second benefic soccer tournament. This event will take place from Friday 15 till Sunday 17 May 1998 on the grounds of the FCVV Tildonk, Liniestraat 7 in Tildonk.
This tournament can only take place with the unique collaboration of FCVV Tildonk, KWB Tildonk and many other volunteers.
Up to now we have the participation of the veteran team from "RWDM" (a Belgian National League soccer team) which will play against the veterans from the "Mechelse selectie" (another Belgian National League soccer team) and of the team of "het Laatste Nieuws" (a Belgian newspaper) which for honor will play against the team of "Familie" (VTM soap).
Without, of course, forgetting the many youth teams that will bring that support to make this tournament a huge success.
On May 16, 1998 the "Quatre Brass Koperkwartet" will give a concert in the clubhouse of FCVV Tildonk. They play different kind of music such as traditional, dixieland, blues, jazz, pop and classic. Ambiance guaranteed. Not to be missed.
Beginning of May, all the inhabitants in Tildonk will receive a brochure presenting the activities and the sponsors. This tournament will also be publicized via posters, regional radios and the press.
