* USA bits - Sevilla, a poised medieavility withing a modern setting, is a city that functions surprisingly well. Even with the cars inside the old city in the narrow bendy streets the visitor easily finds his way ... after a day or two.

Dramatic art documenting the dilemma of the 'old' in modern settings.

Real Orquesta Sinfonica De Sevilla

ARCHIVE - The pure scale of the orchestral arrangement and the massive choir directed by Peter Schreier made of Franz Joseph Haydn's Die Schöpfung - La Creacion a memomoriable event. But it was Rosemery Josua and Markus Butter's performance and well atuned exchange that brought it all together, telling the story of 'light' appearing in the unfruitfullness of darkness and Chaos.

Auf starken Fiuttig
Schwinget sich der Adler stolz
Und theilet die Luft
Im schnellesten Fluge
Zur Sonne hin
Den Morgen grüsst
Der Lerche frohes Lied
Und Liebe girrt
Das zarte Taubenpaar
Aus jedem Busch und Hain erschalit
Der Nachtigallen süsse Kehle
Noch drückte Gram nicht ihre Brust
Noch war zur Klage nicht gestimmt
Ihr reizende Gesang

Centro Andaluz de Arte Contempoàneo

ARCHIVE - The work of Pedgro G. Romero, Sintilo (Fandangos de Huelva) 1996 captures the archivary sphere in contemporary Sevilla of today. Sevilla, the city caught in a medieaval-and-modern timelock. The Centro Contemporoàneo has recently opened in the Monasterio de la Cartuja de Santa Maria de las Cuevas near the 1992 World Fair site.
