This
Vlaams Opera production in Luxembourg (Friedman and Carsen) the
Grand Theatre du Luxumbourg in Luxembourg City has once again
proved what high standards the Vlaams Opera expects from its productions.
The
cast is international - Josephine Barstow, soprano, claimed by
some to be one of the world's leading performers today; Evan Bowers,
tenor, from New York City; Eva Jens, soprano, from Slovakia; Yves
Saellens, tenor, from Belgium; Menai Davies, mezzo soprano, from
Wales and Russel Smythe, baritone, from England.
The Orchestra
is the Flemmish Opera Symphonic Orchestra.The Grand Theatre du
Luxumbourg is easily accessible, with fast trains from the major
cities in Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands, and by direct
tram from the Luxembourg Railway Station.
