Inter media modules in Kinespace® Brussels, March 20th, 2005 Today the main idea of the resaerch is to start with several spirits of "space capacity to modify the music or the performance". It's a challenge for composers : think and write something that could be changed just because of space modifiactions. Kinesthetic possibilities to move musicians when they play must stay in the center of the live performance. In this way an important rule is to consider that what a composer first write (it's what we called a module) is something untouchtable and irreducible (like a nucleus). However a second rule is other (new) compositions, media or installations by (other) composers can be added to the nucleus. |
