TIGER E1

Building a Tiger E1 was a challange, because it was the first in Belgium ! we had no reference.

The Belgium distributor Oracle has a demo car build by TIGER and was very helpfull to give us information. Many thanks To Erik and Peter from Oracle for the assistance.

To build the Tiger you don't need special tools, but if you have it's a lot easier.

We started on august 4 -2000 and finished the car on februar 2001, and worked only saturday and sunday afternoon.

We had a lot of assistance from Jef ( jet-inspector and fine mechanic) and Roel (Tiger E1 number 2).

Is it difficult to build that car ? no, but it's not a lego, you need a lot of imagination or visit daily the tiger owners mailing list at Yahoo for info.

Due to Belgium reglementations we must use a catalysator and injection system, weber carbs are no more allowed on new cars. And with the help of Roel we builded the fuel injection based on the Sierra system that fit into the Tiger.

On 24 april 2001 we passed SVA at Gillingham with the assistance from Erik - Oracle, and started the Belgium registration procedure.

What is the most difficult part of Building a Tiger ?

having a lot of patience to register the car - the paperwork is very slow. But no problem - we do it!

On the gallery page we show how the car is build and even from the first day i had some drivers to test the car !

the first day and the finished car

We changed the lower front bushes on the Tiger E1, what a difference ! amazing how stable the car now is and on braking the nose stay's like it should be ! This is really a neccessary upgrade !!!!

we ordered them by Rally Design in the UK
