Spaceship above the Moon

July 1997, colour pencil, pastel and poster colour, 500 x 400 mm

A view into the future: a fictional spaceship flies in an orbit a few tens of kilometers above the Moon's surface. Because of the fact that the Moon has no atmosphere, the orbit can be kept low without the appearance of decay. On the (back)ground, you see a few radiotelescopes. The blue square is a field of solar arrays.
