Lacrosse is an American spysat wich acquires a very high resolution by synthetis of successive radar images, taken of terrestial objects. The SAR (synthetic aperture radar) antenna is in the focal point of the dish antenna. With this SAR-technic, one could make also observations by night and when there are clouds above the locations that needs to be observed.
