For a new Television program I'm researching what people hate about tv. I don't want to know about the bad influence of tv on your kids or how television destroys human relations (there is plenty to read about that), but I want to know what you personally hate about tv and why. This hate is not restricted to individual programs, type of programs, tv show hosts, people, programming but can also be an image, the people you have to watch tv with or even the box itself or the remote control. 10-10-2000. What I hate about TV most is/are local TV news anchors that act like a comedy team. They have to comment on the news they just reported on, they have to tie the news report they just talked about to the next item, they have to have a joke fest at the end of the program, and best of all is when they screw up and there is dead air as they figure out which one of them is to try to say something funny next. A typical situation is to report on mass murders in the Balkans and then tie that to the weather such as: "No word yet on who is responsible for the mass killings. Now with weather is Ed Smith. Speaking of killings, Ed, this weather is killing us (chuckle,chuckle) will it stop before we are all dead too?" That complaint is for a start. Will,
