Coupled to the thoroughbred Maserati engine is a pure Citroën drivetrain driving the front wheels. The gearbox (derived front the D super 5 and DS23) offers 5 forward speeds with a floor shift. The rest of the drivetrain closely resembles the DS layout with homokinetic, equal length driveshafts. The clutch pedal offers hydraulic assistance.
