In october 1998 the "International Federation of Clubs for the Citroën SM" (IFCCSM) was born. In bringing together the major European SM clubs (Citroën SM club Deutchland, SM Club de France, SeMantics Great Britain, Citroën SM club Nederland, Sm Club Italia, Citroën Maserati club Schweiz), the IFCCSM unites over 1000 SM car owners and can coordinate the use of significant assets. The aim of the federation is "to optimize cooperation in any way possible between the clubs that are members of the Federation, with particular reference to rallies and the remanufacture of Citroën SM spare parts".
