Citroën Mehari

The latest arrival in my garage is not an Italian exotic nor a German wunderwagen but a small French contraption called: a Citroën Mehari! This small car is based on the mechanical layout of the 2CV and the body is made out of plastic. This one came from the South of France has 48000 km and even the original invoice came with the car. This Citroën Mehari can also be used as a camera car.

I acquired this car from it's first lady owner. During it's first 36 years the car was used as a local run-around for the antiques business. Only local use means this car has only covered 45000 kilometers from new and is in totally original condition. The car is in very good order mechanically and has zero rust. The plastic body is in good condition but showing signs of prolonged exposure to the sun. The color is fading on some parts and some small cracking is evident. I'm using this Mehari as a fun car and local runabout (mostly with the roof off).
