2nd Mit-day
A second wonderful day with our baby girl. She is doing very well - better every hour it seems. Cramps are slowly fading away, feeding is becoming more and more regular. In between, she's even kind enough to grant mommy a little rest. Katleen is feeling much better too, after a - let's face it - fairly hard day of labour and birth. It was a fairly difficult birth after all, but Katleen pulled it of with her usual splendour. It is amazing. Anyway: there's some very cool pix of our 2nd Mit-day online. Enjoy it as much as we do!!!

What's at stake at our federal Belgian elections next month? A lot, if you ask me. So this is the time to be informed. And I must say that the VRT (The Flemish Radio and Television company) did a great job in summarizing the stakes. Everyone can get a fairly good overview of each party's point of view, and compare. Provided this is fairly objective, I do believe that this is a great role for the media to play. Provided they are objective. And are not giving the market what the market wants.

To all you fathers out there: did you hate the last days of waiting as much as I am doing right now? Any tips for accelerating the "delivery" process? In any case: to all of you who wanted to ask the question but haven't just yet, AND to all of you who HAVE asked and who continue to repeat yourselves everytime you see/hear me:
