The language use on
Postal Cards

From 1871 till 1878 the heading was " Carte correspondance". This would change quickly because on the new edition of 15 may 1879 the heading became "Carte Postale". The language conflict was obvious, because the next edition of 1 july 1884, was printed in two languages: "Carte Postale-Postkaart".

On 1 October 1927 pieces are edited in the German speaking area with the languages FND; these we call the " tri-langual pieces ".
