2001-2002

Only teams with a licence given by the KBVB are allowed in 1st and 2nd Division
They're checked on administration, finance, registration of players and accomodation
A team without licence can only play in 3rd Division
So, it's possible that a team who becomes champion in 3rd Division, can't get promotion
And a team of 1st and 2nd Division relegates to 3rd Division
The structure is the same as in "1952-2001"

On 6 July 2001, one month before the start of the new competition, the evaluation results were published :

1st Division (18 teams)
16 teams have a licence in the first evaluation
"Nr1615 - KRC Harelbeke" and "Nr2300 - KSK Beveren" get one after a second evaluation

2nd Division (18 teams)
15 teams have a licence in the first evaluation
"Nr0004 - RFC de Liege" get one after a second evaluation
"Nr0148 - KFC Turnhout" has financial problems and can't get a licence
"Nr6826 - FC Eendracht Hekelgem" didn't subscribe for a licence and stopped their activities

3rd Division (32 teams)
25 teams subscribed but only 13 teams get a licence

2002-2003

Most teams have a positive evaluation, except :
"Nr0090 - KSC Eendracht Aalst" goes to 3rd Division (financial problems)
"Nr1615 - Zuid-West Vlaanderen" (formerly "Harelbeke RC") and "Nr0047 - R.W.D.M." stopped their activities

"Nr1986 - KFC Lommelse SK" withdrew during competition in 1st Division
After 26 games, the team had the 17 position
(G26-W7-D2-L16-GF28-GA48-PTS24)
After 31 games, the KBVB annulled the results

After the competition, the KBVB evaluated each team in 2nd Division :
"Nr0025 - KV Mechelen" (financial problems) was refused a license
"Nr0004 - RFC de Liege" received a license after 2nd evaluation but this was later refused
"Nr0028 - K. Berchem Sport" (champion 3rd division) was refused a license

2003-2004

"Nr0025 - KV Mechelen" had to start competition in 3rd Division with "- 9 points"
"Nr0004 - RFC de Liege" had to start competition in 3rd Division with "-3 points"

After the competition, the KBVB evaluated each team in 1st and 2nd Division :
all teams have a license in the first evaluation, but after complaints from some members of the Commitee,
"Nr0030 - KSK Lierse" (financial problems) was refused a license which was given back two weeks later

After the competition, the KBVB received complaints from teams in 3rd and 4th Division about corruption in those leagues,
but this was morely a tactical movement to win extra points and to get promotion, the KBVB classified all complaints

2004-2005

After the competition, the KBVB evaluated each team in 1st and 2nd Division :
"Nr1936 - FC Brussels" received a license after 2nd evaluation
"Nr3434 - K. Patro Maasmechelen" didn't subscribe for a license due to financial problems
