HOTEL DE MILAN - BOURG D'OISANS

Hotel de Milan is a beautiful family hotel in the French Alps. Located in Bourg d'Oisans it is the ideal start for day trips to various well known mountains, be it by bike, by motorcycle or by foot on one of the available walks. There is the possibility to play tennis at walking distance of the hotel, you can play golf at Alpe d'Huez, Les Deux Alpes and in Uriage (at 30 km).

The hotel has 45 rooms, a tv room, and a large parking lot and a garage for bicycles. Our restaurant is closed, there are several restaurants at walking distance.

Every year Bourg d'Oisans is the start of the classical cycling event 'La Marmotte' which brings thousands of participants over the following mountains: The Croix de Fer, The Telegraph, The Galibier and Alpe d'Huez. In total 180 km with 5000 meters of climbing. You need to be fit for this one! Hotel de Milan supplies an extra early and extra strong breakfast. At the hotel there is a secure parking for bicycles and across the hotel there is a bicycle shop called cycles et sports with lots and lots of clothing and material as well as qualified personnel for repairs.

For wintersporters the Hotel de Milan is interesting as well. The domains Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes offer all levels of slopes and are known for the large number of sunny days in winter. You need to take the shuttle towards the slopes every morning but then again this means that our hotel is much cheaper than the ones in the expensive ski-resorts themselves. This makes it interesting especially for families and groups. Rental of ski equipment is possible in Bourg d'Oisans itself.
