MMTaJ originated as an attempt for a fresh approach to sound synthesis. Acting as an amplifier for the natural 50hz hum, the body is transformed into a human oscillator to produce a pulse. The possibilities of pitch are limited so variation is sought in the creative use of analog filters and effects to turn an on-the-fly improvised pattern of pulses into unique soundscapes. |
