what this means and Lum is too busy trying to find her darling to give

Little Mako won't leave Ten alone yet. She even comes to his house
but unfortunately for her, it's not Ten who opens the door. Ten wants

Ataru, Mendou and some others go out in the fields to recite poetry.
There is a legend about the spot where they will do this: if they do
it right the peach spirit will appear. The spirit appears allright...
and then Ataru runs away with her. And more trouble is on the way... {GBL}

You'd have to be pretty stupid to try to sell earmufflers in midsummer.
They're cheap though: only 150 Yen each. Atary is tempted but decides
to go buy a hamburger after all. The salesman surrenders and sells him
two pairs at 100 yen each. The earmufflers turn out to be quite special
as Ataru and Ten's minds are switched when they put them on. {GBL}

Spring, the time when cats want to find a mate and people can't get a
moments peace becouse of the noise they make in the process. Ten gets
fed up with it and sets out to put an end to the fighting on the rooftop.
He shouldn't have done it: his face is covered with scratches before he
knows what's happening. Then he's picked up by something that looks like
a cross between a cat and a human. {GBL}

Mendou and Ataru go flying in a couple of hanggliders that look like
dinosaurs. While flying around, Ataru starts pestering Ten because he's
so slow. The latter gets really angry and does his fire-breathing thing.
After the resulting explosion, they find themselves in the prehistoric

Ataru and some others of his class have made a film. It's not bad in
itself but he's the only one who likes it. Mendou then takes measures
to prevent the film to be shown. i.e. he "accidently" drops the projector
on the ground. Lum feels sorry for her darling and brings a new projector.
And once again it is proven that Earths technology isn't compatible with
alien technology.

Ataru and a couple of his pals are reading dirty magazines in the
library. The librarian (a real cutie) runs into them and Ataru offers to
help rearrange the books. Lum thinks he's flirting again and starts
throwing books at him. The library is quickly turned into a chaos as the
characters start coming out of the books. {GBL}

When you fly into a carpstreamer you don't expect to find a bear in
it. This is what happens to Lum and Ten when they fly into one to find
out what's inside. Once they've gotten over the first fright they take
another look. The bear is flying away with a small kid on it's back.
Ataru later recognizes him as Kintarou. {GBL}

The excursion from the previous chapter isn't over yet. Their teacher
takes them down to show them all the famous spots in the city. Kentarou
is really embarassed when he sees these "famous spots". They run into
Mako (from Chapter 3) and her mother. The whole class goes with them
to see what a kindergarten on Earth looks like. And then Kintarou learns
about his Earth counterpart. {GBL}

Now that Lum goes to school she doesn't have much time to play with
Ten anymore. He'll have to do with a box of candy she gives him. all goes
well until he sees a swallow hunting for food. He follows it to it's nest
and feeds it one of his sweets. The effect on the swallow is
extraordinary. A little bit later, a penguin invades Tomobiki High. {GBL}

Rather than playing with Lum, Ataru goes out girl-hunting. Of course,
Lum isn't very happy with it. Then a television program gives her an idea:

was still a kid? She travels back in time and starts the experiment. {GBL}

Once again Earth is threatened by alien invaders. Some alien queen
takes one look at the planet, thinks it's beautiful and decides she
wants it. The first country she wants to conquer is Japan. Their plans
are quickly foiled though, as their spaceship gets wacked by...a
rugbyball!? {GBL}

Having to clean the school's swimming pool is bad enough, but it's
really annoying if Ten starts bothering you as well. Everybody get fed
up with him and wants to beat him to a pulp. Ten defends himself the
usual way and Lum has to let the water run back into the pool to prevent
everyone from burning to ashes. Ten has lost his candy in the process.
The same candy that turned a swallow into a penquin. {GBL}

At the bottom of the pool of the hotel Mendou's family owns lives a
ghost. The little guy only wants some peace and quiet but in the summer it
always gets so noisy. Mendou isn't vey happy with this uninvited guest
because it scares the customers away. He makes it clear it has

Ten is bored again. Then he sees Lum's father coming out of her room.
He let's him confess that he has arranged a miai to find a suitable

and lets Ten swear not to tell anyone. Will Ten be able to keep his mouth

waiters and then even reveals about the plans to wreck the miai. What more

Ataru & Co escape with Lum through a corridor the Prince of the
nderground has quickly dug. Lum gets mad at her father when she hears
that that party was in fact a miai. Ataru didn't know Lum didn't know
it was a miai and she wouldn't even have come if she had known. The
conclusion of the story is near. {GBL}

The ghost from chapter 20 still lives with the Moroboshis. He can't
stay in their bath forever so he has to leave there too. Ataru and Lum
take him to the ocean where Ataru sets out to find a new home for him.
Sakura and Tsubame are there too, trying to find a spot where they won't
be disturbed. And if Sakura is there, Cherry can't be far off
either. {GBL}
