Back in his room, Keisuke ponders about Nakanishi, apparently he was a great fan of him in his youth (an example). Suddenly someone knocks on his door. It's a third year student who tries to barter a couple of pet-raising books. Keisuke doesn't pay attention because he is called away for a phone call. It's Ninomiya who asks him how to raise the chick. He scolds her for buying a chick without knowing how to raise it. She protests, but the only thing he can offer is to go to the library the next day. Ami is angry and throws down the phone. In the corridor the third year student still tries to barter his books without any success. Suddenly, Keisuke gets an idea. At the girls' dorm Ami and a friend are desperately trying to find out what to give the chick to eat. Standing at the open window, Ami is getting worried. Suddenly she gets something thrown against her head. When she grabs the object she sees that it is a book about raising pets. {PVH}

Back in her room, she hears one of her friends calling on "keisuke". Her friend has baptised the little chick. Ami isn't pleased with the name keisuke, after all they don't know yet if the chick is male or female. Her friend says that the chick doesn't respond to any other name. Ami tries a lot of names fruitlessly, but keisuke is the only name to which the chick replies. {PVH}

Ami calls for Keisuke. He thinks she wants to pester him again, but she only came to give him the money the old man returned. Keisuke asks her for the name of the man, because he has the impression knowing him from somewhere. Keisuke thinks very hard and Ami notices that he is on the right track. She quickly comes up with a fake name.

Back in the dorm, Keisuke looks at the poster of Nakanishi he put up and pretends asking him for a signature. Ami is still upset by the thought of Keisuke and her being youth friends. {PVH}
