[Pandora]
Comatose Raiel is visited by visions of a schoolgirl Sizer...as Flute expresses doubts about Sizer's motivations. Their argument is interrupted by the teary visage of Hamel, who has been wailing about his broken violin for hours. Raiel snaps instantly to the obvious conclusion: the name of the manga has to change. The silly humor of each characters new title unexpectedly gives way to a fierce emotional quarrel between Flute and Hamel, as each treads right on the other's sore spots. It ends with Hamel hitting her...and Flute fleeing the party. Guitar and Bass look upon the crystal that holds Pandora's body. We flashback to Hamel as a small child, learning to play the violin from Pandora...his mother. Flute brings Hamel his Violin...held together with string. {EIR}

[Overture]
Hamel attempts to get his violin repaired, but it can't be done. Alternative instruments fail to capture his interest... but the shopkeeper's interest is snagged by Flute's crucifix, which he places a very high value on. Trom suddenly grabs the cross, looks at Flute teary eyed, and thrusts it back at her with no comment. Flute refuses to sell the cross, since it is the only clue to her parents identity: she had it in her hand when she was found. The shopkeeper mistakes Hamel and Flute for lovers, and Hamel stalks out. Raiel has found a map of the world, and the party decides to head through Sforzando, in the hopes that someone there can repair the violin. Meanwhile, as Sizer arrives back in Hamelin, she is brutally attacked by a furious Drum. {EIR}

[In the Palace of the Northern Devils]

Playing Ride of the Valkyrie, spirits begin to draw near, and 8 more Sizer's appear: the Valkyrie. The destructive foce of 9 Sizers topples the tower and defeats Drum...until a dragon zooms from below and chomps Sizer in two. Drum stands, 4 dragons where his arm should be. Their firey breath destroys the remaining Valkyrie, and Sizer herself. As Drum shouts in triumph, Guitar begins to giggle...and the real Sizer is reveal, seated on Drum's back, her scythe hooked under his neck. Bass puts a stop to the fight here...and chides Sizer severely for irresponsible behavior -- zaps her with God's Thunder. He charges her again with finding the Box, and sends Guitar and Drum off to destroy Sforzando...as Hamel gets the party lost in the woods. {EIR}
