The main character is a cook named Ringo. She wants to become the greatest chef on earth. She meets Mahito on a popular cooking show. They become good friends... Recipes at the end of many issues are included.

"Ringo Nonohara is a cheerful girl who dreams of becoming a TV celebrity. Although knows nothing about cooking, she is chosen to host a cooking program called "Delicious Time." She is really excited about this job and has the full support of her childhood friend, Kazuomi, who is a great cook. Kazuomi is always on Ringo's side, cheering her up and helping her out. With Kazuomi's help, Ringo gradually learns how to cook and "Delicious Time" becomes a great success. Ayami Hanamori has a crush on Kazuomi and tries to get in Ringo's way and generally be nasty. Ringo isn't bothered and always manages to create new dishes for the show with Kazuomi's help.
Ringo decided to go into show business because she is a great fan of a teenage superstar Masato Ishizuka. One day, something unbelievable happens: Masato asks Ringo to go out with him. So starts a complicated love triangle between Kazuomi, Masato and Ringo. Then another cooking program is started which threatens Ringo's popularity. Masato's mysterious private life also adds spice to the story." {020}

About a girl called Makoto, who enters the hohoemi dorm. On her way to the class, a soccer ball smacks in her face. The ball has her name on it. She notes that it's no use trying to get rid of the ball, because it bounces of things and smacks into her face again. So she takes the ball with her to class. She finds out to whom the ball belongs at the role call during the entry ceremony. When her name is called, she and a boy step forward. The boy is also called Makoto (a name that can be used for boys and girls), and when he sees the ball she's holding, he smiles, upon which she throws the ball in his face. Later on, they become friends and even start dating.
