Kitano Yuuji, ex-runner in his university in Sapporo (Hokkaidou), got a job in Lightex, a very big company in Tokyo. He is very good-natured, but others around him aren't and make his life difficult. But he manages to impress them and slowly the bad company atmosphere begins to change thanks to him, who's no more than a good man.
Ii hito has a cute art-style (unusual for a seinen manga) drawn with soft lining and has a feel good soft story, which often reminds me of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. But the background of Ii hito is realistic basically, and there's more dialogue in general. It is a pity that "Ii hito" has become more boring in the later parts. {YRL}

Saishuuheiki Kanojo
serialized on Big Comic Spirits,
7 volumes @ Y505
[ 01:____| 02:____| 03:____| 04:____| 05:____| 06:____| 07:____]
Saishuuheiki Kanojo is a love story, and a very painful one at that. Shuji and Chise have to contend with all the usual painful moments couples face, but on top of that Chise is a "Saishuuheiki" (ultimate weapon) of the military, charged with destroying the enemy... Shuji and Chise try to understand one another, this terrible world they live in, and the meaning of it all as they struggle to keep their love going. A very unique title indeed. (synopsis from )
