Kitarou is the last one of his tribes of ghost humans. Together with a flying eyeball (his late father) and the selfish Otokonezumi (Man-mouse) he wanders through our world and has adventures with many other demons.

This series is also known under the name of "Hakaba no Kitarou", which was the title it had when it was first published. After the take-over of the rights by Shounen Magazine, it changed its name.

Another example of what Mizuki can do best: Demons and comedy. All of the demons appearing in this series are from old Japanese legends and Mizuki wants people not to forget them. {DHI}
