Pyramids.

Last of the seven wonders of the world to remain, the Large Pyramid is nothing any more but one tomb empties...

But did it really deliver all its secrecies?

It seems well that not!

With its 6,5 million tons of rock and its 138 m height, the Large Pyramid is made up, with only one, of more than materials than all the cathedrals, churches and joined together vaults of France.

For more than 4500 years, the Large Pyramid has appeared among the largest monuments ever built on Earth.

According to Egyptologists', its construction by the former Egyptians goes up to 2500 before JC, dating which would correspond approximately to that of the Sphinx and the two pyramids of the site of Gizeh.

But no one cannot be certain of knowing for which reason the Large Pyramid was built.

An advanced technique.

It is in March 1993 that German engineer Rudolf Gantenbrink decided to answer this question.

For that, it developed a remote-controlled robot of a value of 250.000 $, equipped with a video camera, and which it baptized Upuaut 2.

On the spot, it introduced are robot in a ventilation shaft directed in the south of the room of the queen, calle located at the heart of the Large Pyramid.

Upuaut 2 (term meaning, into demotic, "the opener of the way"...) was going to traverse 60 m in this narrow of 20 cm and high corridor of as much, before being stopped by a calcareous stone door.

With its great astonishment, Gantenbrink saw on its control screen that the door was provided with two copper handles and that there was a slit between it there and ground.

It had just discovered, inside the Large Pyramid, a room hitherto secret.

A perfect design.

The Large Pyramid is a true wonder of architecture, in particular by its mass and the incredible precision of its proportions

The exposure of the four faces of the Pyramid corresponds indeed to the orientation of the four cardinal points, to 0.015% of margin.

In addition to a succession of engineers, astronomers and masons stone, to obtain such a precision would nowadays require the use of a laser theodolite and exact geographical charts with a margin of 10 m!

Its base forms an almost perfect square, whose each longest side and the shorter side is only 25 cm.

With a margin of a degree, the corners of the Pyramid form perfect right angles of 90°.

These technical prowesses were accomplished without pulley, wheel and the tools of extremely precise size used by current engineers of the building.

Which logic can have encouraged these builders of another technological page to have the concern of the respect of a similar degree of accuracy, however undetectable with the naked eye?

According to the specialists, the Large Pyramid, like its two neighbors, were built during the 4th dynasty (2631-1494 before JC), with an aim of sheltering the tombs of Pharaons.

The Large Pyramid is the work of the Pharaon Khéops, the second, of size inferior, Khéphren and the third, smaller still of Mykérinos, wire of Khéphren.

These attributions come us from the Greek historian Hérodote, who himself learned it some two thousand years after construction from the pyramids.

In 820 of our era, the caliph Al Ma' mûn is supposedly the first to be penetrated inside the Large Pyramid.

He will not find large-thing there, not more body, than of treasure, tools or of hiéroglyphes... only one empty sarcophagus in the room of the king.

Explosive evidence.

But, en1837, after the many unfruitful attempts at its predecessors, British exploration, colonel Howard Vyse, was going to make important discovered by visiting the interior of the Large Pyramid.

By means of explosives, it made jump the rock above the room of the king and reached four sealed parts then.

On the walls of the highest part, it discovered hieroglyphic signs, carried out with red painting, mentioning the name of Khéphren.

These inscriptions led the Egyptologists to deduce in a formal way that the Pyramid was well the work of the Pharaon Khéphren, and that the empty sarcophagus attested that the monument had been the tomb of this Pharaon.

To explain the fact that it was discovered empty, the same Egyptologists concluded that the Pyramid had been plundered little of time after its construction.

However, the authenticity of these hiéroglyphes was seriously called in question by Graham Hancock which affirms in its book that at the end one season of expensive excavations and overall not very profitable, Vyse miraculeusement fell on the index enabling him to say that Khéphren itself had built the Large Pyramid.

According to the analysis of Hancock, these hiéroglyphes conceals a certain number of inconsistencies: on the one hand the name of Khéphren does not appear null leaves elsewhere in the Pyramid and on the other hand these famous graffiti are in a part of the monument where Vyse was a long time it only to have access.

Lastly, several of these hiéroglyphes were painted with back, some are indecipherable or comprise obvious grammar and spelling mistakes.

The thesis according to which Vyse would have created is necessary in order to justify the cost of its experiment thus appears plausible, although the majority of the experts refute such an assumption.

According to Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval, joint author of its work, the true justification of the Large Pyramid is in stars.

The precession, phenomenon due to the rotation of the Earth, leads the constellations to modify their position during the 25.980 years cycle.

Using calculations data processing determining the position of the stars above the pyramids into 2500 before JC, Bauval and Hancock noted that one of the southern galleries of the Large Pyramid was directed very exactly towards Sirius, star associated with the Egyptian goddess Isis.

On the other hand, the axis of the other southern galleries was prolonged towards lowest of three stars of the cross-belt of Orion.

This constellation is supposed to shelter the god Osiris, divinity at the origin of the age of the valley of the Nile, in one remote time named Zep Tepi, which means "the First time".

For Bauval and Hancock, these orientations are not fortuitous.

According to them, the builders deliberately built the Large Pyramid in such a way that galleries intern yourself are aligned on stars.

The thesis of the relation between the pyramids of Gizeh and the constellation of Orion was reinforced when Bauval noticed that the third pyramid, smallest, was not aligned perfectly on the two stars.

A bond with Orion.

While examining of close the constellation of Orion, it noted that the three stars posted the same shift between them.

The three pyramids of Gizeh could thus constitute a notation symbolic of these stars.

However, the angle of the cross-belt of Orion did not correspond exactly to the provision of the pyramids of Gizeh.

Turning over to their computer, Bauval and Hancock realized that the only moment when the stars of the cross-belt of Orion coincided perfectly with the position not of the pyramids located in 10.500 years before JC.

They deduce from it that the three pyramids were completed in the 2.500 year old neighbourhoods before JC, but that the plans of the site of Gizeh go up at some 8.000 years earlier.

Perhaps it acted, at the time, of plans of low platforms, transmitted from generation to generation, until builders are technically able to direct the internal galleries of the pyramids towards these stars.

With the threshold of the discovery.

Bauval and Hancock arrived jointly at the following conclusions.

According to them, the originators of the plans of Gizeh gave to the pyramids and the Sphinx phenomenal proportions in the hope to make of it an impossible to circumvent historical reference mark which would encourage the future generations to seek the significance of it.

Moreover, for the two researchers, the orientation of the buildings is closely related to the stellar symbolic system.

Also, only a civilization in measurement to include/understand the movement of stars could be able to bore the secrecy of the pyramids of Gizeh.

This opinion is based in particular on the fact that the pyramids conceal

indices of precession allowing the researchers to determine certain dates with precision.

Lastly, there would still exist, on the plate of Gizeh, of tighten inviolate which would contain the ultimate message that the manufacturers of the pyramids wanted to transmit.

Bauval and Hancock estimate that we will be able to elucidate the totality of the enigma of the site when these tighten are discovered.

But where are they hidden?

Perhaps Rudolf Gantenbrink touched it with the goal when its robot ran up against the door blocking the southern corridor of the room of the queen.

A new robot would be dispatched soon in the long corridor to try to open the secret room.

One day next, the last secrecies of the Large Pyramid will be bored.
