HOSPIN RVT publishes the consumption of several million belgian francs (ex-factory) phamaceutical specialties. You can extrapolate them to the universe you like.

In regard of the Royal Decree of 08.08;97 , published in Belgisch Staatsblad dated 28.08.97 , your interest in this market is evident.

The hospital pharmacy will be allowed to distribute, on prescription, certain speciallties. This decree can implicate a big modification of the turn over pattern of the hospital pharmacy and a financial benefit for the patient.

Just to know which specialties, what sort of therapeutic classes and what quantities in units, are consumed in a number of beds is important for :

those companies selling directly to hospitals ;
those companies which can now increase their turn over in the hospital pharmacies because of the consumption pattern.
