Prokopp Sándor

He was born in Košice, Slovakia, but he competed for Hungary even until 1924, so he has to be classed Hungarian. He did not even compete in 1920, something he could have done as a (Czecho-)slovakian, when Hungary was not invited.

Together with his wife Lyudmilla Belousova, he won gold at Innsbrück and Grenoble. They began skating as a pair in 1957, and were married the same year. They were European and World Champions four times, from 1965 to 1968. They turned professional in 1969 and won a lucrative competition in Tokyo in 1973.
