The ODI ratings are made per years, each of them starting around May and containing an English season followed by a Southern hemisphere one.
The first world cup was played (even before the men's version of the same) in June and July of 1973.
Apart from traditional countries Australia, England and New Zealand, there were four other teams : Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Young England, and an international XI, made up of players from South Africa and the reserves of Australia, England and New Zealand.
