Jeff Schwartz had a list like this with 22 countries and
Dave Roberts
shows 38 countries. Of course the comparison isn't fair, as I don't have
to cross any oceans to make this list a little longer. (and here is the list
of the provinces that I have already visited).
According to the TCC (the
Travelers' Century Club),
Scotland, Wales, Srpska, Madeira, the Canaries, Sicily, the Ionian Islands,
the Dodecanesos and Asian (or European) Turkey are additionally termed
"countries", so that I could count 44 countries, still a long way off the
100 needed for membership of that club.
