It is our mission to give our customers the best possible solution to a well defined problem and this within a budget and timeframe that was agreed upfront between ATUM and our customers. We will only accept to carry out such a mission provided that we are fully confident that we have the know-how and skills to perform the task and overachieve our customers expectations.

ATUM BVBA

ATUM was founded early 2003. Although we are still a fairly young company, we nevertheless carry over 20 years of professional Information Technology experience. We bring this experience to the table for the benefit of our customers and their business performance. Established in Temse, we are in the center of the economic heart of Belgium. Close to Antwerp, Ghent and Brussels. We can serve our customers in different languages, Dutch, French, English and German.

Design and Architecture

One of the bigggest challenges in software development is bridging the communication gap and the lack of business knowledge between the user and the developer. We therefore use UML (Unified Modeling Language) to solve this issue, but it will help us also in bridging the chasm between our UML models and the J2EE architecture. UML will help us to translate your business process requirement into a high performance and scalable J2EE design

Technology

We focus with our development skills on SUN's JAVA platform Java 2, Enterprise Editon (J2EE). This allows us to develop in a platform independant and scalable manner, focussing on the business process and functionality. We develop as much as possible on Open Source technology, lowering the license cost during development and testing, but nevertheless leave the possiblity to transfer the solution to proprietar platforms if or when so required, thereby keeping your initial investment in software development protected.
