Commemorative Crosses and Medals

as awarded for services during the Continuation War

The following crosses and medals were awarded to participants in the Continuation War (1941 - 1945) :

Maaselkä Cross - Maaselän Risti (2nd Army Corps)	Northern Viena Cross - Pohjois Vienan Risti (3rd AC)
Carelian Isthmus Cross - Kannaksen Risti (4th AC)	Eastern Svir Cross - Itä Syvärin Risti (5th AC)
Aunus Cross - Aunuksen Risti (6th AC)	Lake Ääninens Cross - Äänisen Risti (7th AC)
Armoured Division Cross - Panssari Divisioonan Risti (Tank Division)	1st Division Cross - one of a number of bars possible.
2nd Division Cross, nicknamed the "Breaker Division - Murtajadivisioona"	4th Division Cross - one of three bars possible.
5th Division Cross, nicknamed the "Lynx Division - Ilvesdivisioona"	6th Division Cross
7th Division Cross (also known as Kalpa Risti = Sword Cross)	8th Division Cross, nicknamed the "Outflankers of the Three Isthmuses - Kolmen Kannaksen Koukkaajat"
10th Division Cross	11th Division Cross, nicknamed the "Spearhead Division - Kiiladivisioona"
12th Division Cross	14th Division Cross - one of two bars possible.
17th Division Cross, nicknamed the "Oak Division - Tammidivisioona" - one or more of three bars (either in Finnish or Swedish) possible.	18th Division Cross
19th Division Cross	Eastern Karelian Isthmus Cross (15th Division and 19th Brigade)
Lapland Cross for the Continuation War - Jatkosodan Lapin Risti - awarded to members of units serving in the Finnish-German Army Corps (Roi) in Lapland (1941-44) or to participants in the battle against the Germans in Lapland (1944-45). The latter received a bar "1944-45".
