The League was created in 2009 to provide combatants with a unique competitive and safe environment  to fit their passion for Historical European Combat Sports.

Twin sister of the International Jousting League, the ICL is likely to grow into the largest and most active tournament community in the modern world.

The League currently counts over 92 affiliates representing 10 nations.

MISSIONS :
The League supports affiliates competitive interest.
The League examines tournaments affiliation files.
The League advertises regulations of the affiliated tournaments.
The League audits the affiliated tournaments.
The League publishes the results of the affiliated tournaments.
The League computes the international ranking of its affiliates.
The League provides assistance for tournaments organizers.

Each ICL affiliated group or individual remains independent and agrees to respect  the International Combat League protocol established by the Board of Representatives and enforced by ICL Auditors at affiliated events.
