Notes :
|
The female voice at the end of the "Allo Brigitte" song has sometimes been credited to Gillian Hills. The authors of this discography have listened a good number of times to this particuliar track and they came to a negative conclusion. Indeed, the legend on the record mentions a unidentified Brigitte for this track. |
A CD has been released under the title "Yé-yé collection : 20 are sixties oldies vol. 1", with "Allo Brigitte", credited to Henri Salvador, Jean Yanne and Gillian Hills. For the above-mentioned reason, we didn't include it in this discography. | |
The catalog of the American firm Recordfinders contains a 45 rpm single (reference MERC71649), with the tracks "By a waterfall" and "Cha cha stop", both credited to the Ramirez Cha Cha Band. We of course ordered a copy (october 2001, and october 2003), but we received twice the same answer : the record was "out of print and would soon be deleted from the catalog". Are those two songs the Gillian Hills version or instrumental versions? |
