About us

Elsje Flypo & Filip Margodt

When we met in 1976 we didn’t know at that time that we would ever be so fascinated by clay. After some years our four daughters grew up and didn’t need that much attention anymore and Elsje could finally make her dreams come trough. She started her ceramic education at the “Academy for Arts” in Bruges. In 2000 we decided to take a potters training at the “VIZO” also in Bruges. By now Filip was also bitten by the microbe and he joined me at the “Academy for Arts” in Bruges.

Whilst the clay that came from our hands became more and more a form with confidence our work-room became a real studio. Our craft became art and our pots became ceramics. In the meantime we both found our separated way in the world of ceramic design and we fully understand witch source of inspiration we became for each others work.

With pleasure this website will show you some pictures of our work from the past and present.
