How do I sow lithops seeds

50% soil will be commercial potting soil for seeds or cuttings 50% will be washed river sand seedtray 50cm x 30 cm soil and grit will be mixed
add a bug killer this will controll root mealies for the first year mixture will be ready seedtray will be filled
add number of seedtray in front, you start sowing in tray 1 divide equal parts (7cm x 7cm).

First part will be 1-1, second 1-2............

sowing can be started

make a selection so NO same species are sown close to each other

give seeds a push so they are in good contact with soil
make a note of species you have sown, so you can write it on computer or sowing book afterwards make a solution ready with a fungicide and slightly warm water (boiled rain water) give seedtray a light sprinkle when all seeds have been sown this will be cover
carefully sprinkle grit on top slightly push to make good soil contact give a spray with water and fungicide

seedtray can take 1/2l water

this will be the result
cover with a plastic bag for about 7-10 days put seedtray in a very bright position and wait after 8 days germination starts all over the tray 'hotlops' seedlings grow easy through stones 8 days after sowing
