This is not my pic. I found it somewhere on the web, don´t remember where.

Here follows the info I noted about this. I think I found this on somebody else´s page. Seems ´Dick´ sent pic and text to that person:
From Michael Moore´s Eurospares web page, a good web page if you are
thinking about building or modifying a chassis
http://www.eurospares.com/fzxs650.jpg
The only text I could find about the picture was:
"FZ600 framed XS650 Yamaha twin road racer Another shot from Sears Point. I
think the owner told me that a lot of the parts were on hand or given to
him, so he put them together. 44K jpeg file"

Through my search for information about the special OW72 head I came into contact with Willy and Frans, who had a wealth of information, and some very nice bikes and parts.

This WASP sidecar crosser is brand new!

Got this info from Gary K. Foote

Hi Frank,

The outfit in the picture belongs to Sandy Harris. She passengers and she had Andrew
Murray drive this year. The chassis was one of five or six that were built by Dave
Gilbert at DCM services in Framingham, MA [USA] about five years ago. Sandy bought the
chassis from Gilbert and had Doug Cook [her original driver] of BCD Fabricating install a
750 Ducati round case on loan from BCM motorsports, which they ran with some success for
the 99 season.

This partnership dissolved at the end of the 99 season. Doug got the motor and Sandy
kept the chassis. At other´s prompting, Sandy decided to install a Yamaha 650 which was
done by Dave Katz. [Details on Dave Katz are unknown at this time. I´ll look into him if
you´re interested]

In the fall of 2000 Sandy brought the chassis to Andrew Fairbanks to straighten out some
obvious flaws in geometry and construction and the form that you see in the picture is
Andrew´s chassis work.

So, three weeks before the Roebling Road race this year Sandy had only a rolling chassis
with a dummy engine in it and no systems (exhaust, fuel, electrics, ignition, brakes,
controls, charging,starter, none of it).

Two weeks and approximately 100 to 120 hrs later it was in the form that you see in the
picture. They did very well with this machine early this year. I lost time to follow
results in the latter half of the season, so can´t comment further.
