Snake - a never ending story - Part 3 : Snake III exhaust

First exhaust I tried. Sound was nice - maybe a bit too nice!
You can see the (short) mufler coming out on the left hand side.

A total new design, made entirely in stainless steel. Gert-Jan had the pipes bent for me.
The stainless steel exhaust pipes are split half way so I can change the angle at which they come together in the collector. The split is held together with springs, I hope this will let the pipe "live" without leakage, so it doesn´t tear due to the vibrations inherent to a 360° twin.

I use a frame turned upside down, with an empty engine casing in it to be able to have good access to fit and weld the pipes together. You really don´t have much space working under the bike!

Making up the collector for the 2 into 1 exhaust. This was a real pain in the ass to make. I´m still not quite happy with it, but it´ll have to do for now. The angle at which the pipes join is quite small, something like 5° I think. I´m planning to experiment with this value later on.
