This is another bike I owned, but unfortunately the insurance on bikes is so expensive over here I didn´t have the cash to ride it around. It is a 1975 model, the B-type.
I had it collecting dust in the garage for years, and only recently fixed it up and sold it.

I bought this bike years ago and sorta never got around to fixing her up, or selling her. This is how she arrived.

Incidentally, in the background is the "Snake", my other bike.

Again, in the background, couple of spare frames and on the right end my sidecar to be ... that now is ... well ... you know what I mean!

OK, pop quiz. Who can tell what is not standard on this bike? Any ideas??? Remember, Belgian model may differ somewhat from Dutch, Canada, US models! Go on ... look real closely!!!

She has 55.000 Km on the clock, I am maybe like the third owner or so, and this bike was real good cared for! Previous owner had her in the garage where the boiler for the central heating was, so it never got cold :) Only rode it once a year in the rain, when he went on a holliday. Otherwise, if it rained, it stayed in! It has been overbored because she started using a little oil at a time. And the exhausts have been fixed by a welder at the back, where it can´t be seen. Oh ... and the little pop-quiz question? The steering was replaced after it fell over when standing on it´s side-stand. The steering bar is not original.

These are the last pictures I made of this bike, the day before it was picked up.
The rear wheel is an original but spraypainted black.

Looks beautiful in the afternoon sun! These pictures really do it credit!

This is an original bike - not restored. 28 years old and look at the paintjob!
Engine looks decent too! No apparant oil leaks. Alloy not too bad after all the years in storage!

Disc brake ... shows stains in the disc - but these are not rust. Brake is working above expactations after the calipers and brake pump were opened up and cleaned thoroughly.

I´m not saying this is a perfect bike. It is starting to show rust on the sidecovers, and on the frame.

Yes ... original exhaust system, and looking very good for it´s age.

Just under 56000 km.
Keychain from the 650 Society (US based)
Usual wear under the ignition keyhole.

And I was sorry to see it leave. New owner lives quite a bit away and picked it up in a van. He could have driven it home if he wanted to.
