This is my new playtoy. It will probably be the death of me. If not in an accident - then in a heartattack.
I went for a testride and had to change my underpants when I got back. You don´t actually ride this - more like hang on, and hope to live and tell.
I´m gonna put it on the dynojet - just to know what sort of power comes out of this beast!
I estimate 120 Bhp for 200 kg weight. |

This is based on a Suzuki GSXR 1100 from 1987 I think - have to check this.
Nice (homemade?) carbon fiber exhaust can. The sound is ... well ... let´s say it is not modest ... not at all. |

Nice little decal on the gastank.
Riding position is nice and upright. |

This bike has an almost identical swing arm (and linkage) as the one I am using in the Snake III project. |

Typical for the streetfighter styling, this sort of headlight. |

The dashboard is simple and functional. |

Removing some insulation tape revealed this. A perfect example of how *NOT* to do it.
I had suspected finding stuff like this - as the wiring seems to work - but only barely. To name a few things ... the brake light works even without the key in the ignition; The light switch is reversed (high beam/normal beam); cockpit lights don´t work; more connections on the battery than you want to know!
I plan to fix this - make a new custom wiring loom for this bike. Need to strip the bike further, and have a good close look at the schematics. |

I cut open the wiring loom to check ...
I was not the first to open it up. This is someones idea of an electrical connection.
The wiring loom was not too bad - so I decided to reuse a lot of it. |

The sidestand contact. The pins were bent over and touched each other. Not much use having this then, huh?
I scrapped it - the more gimmicks - the more potential sources for problems.
Keep it simple and keep it reliable! |

The heavy wire from the starter relay to the startermotor. Totally schafed through to the wire. If u wanna see nice sparks, and even possibly see a bike go up in flames, then this is the way to go.
Needless to say - I repaired this thoroughly! |

The NEAN relay. Took some figuring out - but this is the relay that controls the anti-dive of the front fork. It was just taped up a bit and hanging behind the fairing.
I am not decided yet if I´m gonna keep the NEAN anti-dive system - or scrap it. The fork felt ´jittery´ under heavy braking - I definately need to check this out, could have had to do with this. |

The black box for the electronic ignition. It is loose in it´s protective casing. It apparantely worked ok - for now I´m just gonna secure it - but I might pour some 2 component stuff into the casing to secure it and make sure water cant enter. But first I have to check if this needs cooling or not. |
