This is the story of a Campellone Standard. Mark Campellone is a luthier in Greenville, RI. Inspired by the great orchestra-style instruments, the archtop guitars Mark builds today are among the world's finest. With their beautiful styling, excellent playability and superb acoustic quality, his instruments have quickly gained the attention of archtop enthusiasts across the U.S. and abroad.

I asked Mark to build a Standard model for Exxbox Guitars, so those fantastic instruments would become available in Europe. The guitar will be available at Exxbox Guitars in January. Ready to be tested.

So mark selected the Spruce and Maple woods. The pieces are glued together and hand carved in shape.
