We are happy to welcome you on the BOTA - "Belgium On The Air" webpage.

The BOTA  program is a idea that is developed in 2007 by Luc ON6DSL with help from some friends. There is no association or any club linked to the BOTA program. 

BOTA is for all HAM's and SWL's who like portable outdoor activations and for all chasers that like to work them.

BOTA is an award program only for outdoor HAM activations in Belgium.

The BOTA references are a collection of interesting places in Belgium, deserving an outdoor BOTA activation by enthusiastic radioamateurs.

You can use references that consists of various types activation options like: hills, summits, rocks, bunkers, fortresses, war monuments, war cemeteries, abbeys, rivers, nature reserves, landscapes, ect ... ect ...

We would like to welcome all Belgian HAM's and SWL's, as well as foreign radioamateurs and SWL's visiting Belgium.
