g. beckeri ?
g. beckeri
for me this is the ultimate gasteria: low, fat, slow-growing with a red tinge that speaks of age and wisdom...pardon my wandering, but it is unfortunately not mine but once again a cok grootscholten plant! one day however, i hope to obtain a shoot. but what is it? the old name g. beckeri, refers to g. bicolor according to evj. but this obviously doesn't apply here. i would wish to see it's flowers to elliminate g. pillansii . it has the latter's leaf texture but is a bit on the large side for a g. pillansii. which leaves us with g. disticha. any other opinion is welcome!
