Molenbaix is a beautiful little village of about 650 souls.
It's situated in the region of Tournai
It has a church in its' center ,a fancy Castle,a grocery store, a very good butcher ,3 bistros,
one of them is famous for its beer
and its' cibercafe.Molenbaix also has a very nice internet site who tells you everything that's going on in our beautiful village. .We also have an electrical appliance store,
a paint shop,a plumber, 2 electricians ,2 truck companys,
a garage for location of agricultural and heavy duty tools .an apple farm specialized in "JONAGOLD" apples
As sport we have 2 soccer fields and a handball field on the street called "Balle pelote"
You see, we have almost everything here
We even have 3 farm lodges where you can stay for your holidays or for your work . They are
called "GITES A LA FERME" . Molenbaix Is situated at about 10 miles from Tournai and Renaix(Ronse)
25 miles from Lille (France) and Courtrai (Kortrijk), 55 miles from Brussels
My farm is situated 200 meters from a small country road ; It has room for 5 to 8 persons ,
is also well equipt , and outside ,a nice clay tennis court awaits you !! A "Zodiac" swimming pool 9 m. diameter and 1.30 m deep shall be functional for the first of July 2001
As you can see , this small village has a lot to offer to a familly who looks for
a nice quiet vacation out in the country
