On Tuesday 5th of July there was an "after"-Violoncello 2005 meeting to exchange photos, recordings, CDs and DVDs GC Essegem. At 20:30 we were proud to announce that we can donate 1340 EUROs to Médecins sans Frontières.

Tijdens de tweede helft van het laatste concert op zondag 10 april speelde een 60-koppig cello-orkest (met vooral amateurs). Hieronder kan u audiofragmenten van het concert downloaden.

La deuxième moitié du dernier concert du dimanche 10 avril était joué par un orchestre de quelque soixante violoncellistes (surtout des amateurs). Ci-dessous vous pouvez télécharger des extraits audio de ce concert.

The second half of the last concert on Sunday 10th of April was played by a cello orchestra (more or less 60 cellists, majority amateur players). Below you can donwload some audio-excerpts of this concert.

July 5th 2005: After-Violoncello 2005 Meeting

Op dinsdag 5 juli 2005 kan u van 19:00 tot 22:00 terecht in GC Essegem om na te praten en om video's te bekijken en CD's te beluisteren van Violoncello 2005. Om 20:30 kondigen we het bedrag aan dat aan Artsen Zonder Grenzen wordt gegeven.

Le mardi 5 juillet 2005 vous êtes les bienvenu(e)s entre 19:00 et 22:00 au GC Essegem pour regarder des vidéos et écouter des CDs de Violoncello 2005. A 20:30 on annoncera la somme qui sera donnée à Médecins Sans Frontières.

On Tuesday 5th of July from 19:00 untill 22:00 you're invited to come to GC Essegem to watch the videos and listen to the CDs of Violoncello 2005. At 20:30 we will announce the amount of money that will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières.

Violoncello 2005 is a cello festival with a series of concerts where you can listen to an interesting selection of compositions for cello solo; there are international guests, encounters with cellists, a children program en there is attention for Médecins sans Frontières.

First of all I would like to thank everybody who made Violoncello 2005 a weekend to remember. The atmosphere was special and many real encounters were the result.
