WELCOME
This website will allow you to follow the trip I will make on my motor bike from Moscow to Vladivostok through Central Asia.
The site will frequently be updated with pictures and travel stories.
I invite you to come along with me, and discover the shores of the Volga, the Karakum desert, Samarkand, Bukhara and the Silk Trail, the plains in Kazakhstan and in Mongolia, the Gobi desert, and distant Siberia.
Enjoy the trip!!!
The objective is to travel by bike from Moscow to Vladivostok through Central Asia.
The journey is set up as a fund-raising for SOS Children's Villages.
Russia, the world-famous Trans-Siberian Railway and Lake Baikal, Central Asia and part of the Silk Route, Mongolia and the Gobi desert; these are all places which appeal to the imagination and are full of adventures and interesting discoveries.
The landscape has a stunning diversity: tranquil rural tracks, high mountain passes, plains, deserts and tundra.
The already existing children's villages in the region will be visited along the way.
Two passions have driven me to embark on this project :
- The region of Central and Eastern Europe, which I have known for some ten years now, without ever getting tired of it;
- Motorcycling, which I have been doing for fifteen years with unremitting enthousiasm.
I hope you make some interesting discoveries !!!!!
